Your full name and affiliation is used to identify you in BIIGLE. This information is shown to other BIIGLE users e.g. if they want to add you as a member of a project or if they browse your annotations. We do not show your email address to other BIIGLE users.
We might use your email address to contact you in case we noticed some malfunction of BIIGLE that affects you or in case of other important information regarding BIIGLE. If you reset your password, BIIGLE will use your email address to send you instructions via email.
If you subscribe to the BIIGLE newsletter, we will use your email address to send you the newsletter.
